It’s great until it’s not. This only lasted 9 months.
UPDATE: I’ve had two now and both have died in a relatively short time frame. One died at 9 months, the other shorter than that. They look fine, they just refuse to charge anything.PREVIOUS REVIEW: I like this charger significantly better than the OEM one that came with my computer. The power brick is nicely placed, it doesn’t get to warm, either!

Certainly not 90 watts
I got this to keep on my desk at work and use the one that came with my thinkpad for travel. The factory charger is 65 watts. This one claims to be 90 but charges much more slowly. Absolutely not outputting the claimed 99 watts, but it does work. Don’t buy it I’d you need the full 90 or if you want fast charging.

Great if you forget your charger
I always forget my charger & was out of town for work. This was perfect for my laptop. Pro tip-make sure the wattage lines up. If your old charger is 90W, you need a 90W even if the internet tells you different.

exactly what I needed
I Bought this as a higher current output power supply to power my docking port, which then powers mu Yoga laptop. I use the power supply that came with the Yoga when I travel. This is exactly what I need, and it works great.

3 of 4 didn’t last a year
I bought four of these over the last year at different times and so far three have broken. It’s possible they would last if only used for smaller devices – I use them to charge various devices including my laptops which will eagerly take all the chargers will give. Whether they break for that reason or some other reason, they need a redesign.

Pretty sure this blew up my laptop…
Ultimately my fault for not seeing the clues before disaster, but I noticed the end of the charging cable spark one day when it touched a pair of sunglasses on the table. Thought “whoa that was weird!” but forgot about it. A few days later I had this plugged into my laptop and went to plug an HDMI cable in the other side. Literally saw the lightning travel through my laptop from the charging port to the HDMI port, heard the pop, saw the smoke, and smelled burning from my laptop. RIP laptop.

Bought in September, dead by February
I purchased this charger in September to keep by my desk at home. It traveled one time since purchase with no problem, and had been in the same spot otherwise. No direct sunlight, only used a few times a week, and unplugged when not in use. I sat down to work this morning, and it was dead. Worked yesterday, dead today. I realize this is a budget charger, but that kind of performance is just not good enough.

Seems to work great.
I’ve used this for charging my Macbook Pro successfully, while having several peripherals plugged in. So far so good. We’ll see if it withstands the test of time. One thing that does not really matter to me, but which I noticed, is that it is somewhat lightweight and hollow feeling. I’d expect it to be a little more dense. Also, it’s a bit larger than the one that came with my ThinkPad X1 docking station, but again, very reasonable.

Excellent replacement power cord for modern low powered laptops or other devices
This 90W USB-C power cord has been a great secondary/replacement power source for a Steam Deck, Samsung tablets, Samsung phones, various Pixel phones and a Chromebook. I’m sure that it can provide power to most any 90W or under electronic device, though I have heard rumors that you might want to be careful when trying it with a Nintendo Switch because of how Nintendo configured their USB-C port on some of those. It doesn’t offer much in features, but that isn’t really needed for a power cord. It would be better for my needs if it were an extra foot or two longer, but I really can’t complain given the very reasonable price and it has met all of my other needs at that price.

If you use a docking station, you need this 90 Watt USB Type-C Lenovo Charger
I have an original OEM Lenovo docking station with a 135 watt power supply, as well as 2 spare 65 Watt Chargers for my Lenovo 6th Gen Carbon X1 laptop to use when I am away from the office. However, I sometimes get a power warning advising that I need more power than the laptop is getting. This is due to the Toshiba docking station (and all the peripherals connected to it) connected to it at my home office. The 65 Watt power supply is fine without all the additional peripherals connected to it, but not when you have a large monitor, external drives and other peripherals connected to it. This AC Charger has the additional wattage to run all those peripherals and still provide the power needed to run the laptop safely and effectively. At less than $30 shipped, you can’t go wrong!

Seems great until it stops working
Bought one, thought it was great so I ordered 2 more. The first one failed after 2 months. So I ordered a 4th one and it died in only a few days. Right after that a third one stopped charging as well. They are much lighter weight than the name brand ones and I’m sure they use some kind of cheap part that burns out quietly and bricks it.

Great USB C Charger For Asus ZenBook 14
I absolutely love this thing and can’t beat the price. It works well with my Asus ZenBook 14 with a 12th Gen Intel CPU as a spare charger for travel. The only complaint is that the length from the brick to the wall is a little shorter than I would like, but for the price it can’t be beat.

Thunderbolt4 Docking Station Power
I nabbed this to power my new docking station that uses dual USB-C connections to the computer and has an extra PD in port. It drives 4 4K monitors and without an external power source it drops connections after the second monitor comes up, added this nice little power supply (which was one of the very few 90W USB-C PS’s I could find at the time) and no more glitching monitors!

Technically 83 watt but great
Hooked up a power meter to the output. I got maximum 19.95 volts at 4.15 amps. Thats 83 watts so not the full 90 but close enough for me. It works as a normal PD charger meaning it can charge my android phone and my laptop. Great stuff.

Very impressive when charging my GoLabs R300 power station
I bought this to speed up charging of my GoLabs power station. Using the suppled AC adapter the GoLabs charged at 45 watts and the charger became very hot. After purchasing this 90 watt USB-C charger, I now receive the max input of 60 watts. That saves more than an hour from empty to full. It also does not get nearly as hot as the AC version.

Worked
Nothing much to say other than it worked. I have an old Lenovo that I lost the cord for. This made it impossible to boot up so I could clean files off of it to sell it. The replacement cord works fine. It also didn’t incredibly hot like some chargers doo.

Faulty charger, was replaced!
This charger worked beautifully for two months, and then started only charging part of the time. The cords are still in perfect condition, have not been bent, damaged, or exposed to water or heat. This month it stopped charging completely. Am hoping for a replacement, but unfortunately it didn’t come with a warranty.EDIT: Received a replacement charger very quickly once contacted by the seller, and it is working perfectly! 10/10 would buy from them again.

Had this next to my couch for phone / laptop (so wasn’t exposed to e.g. a lot of travel, humidity, or anything like that), and broke after a mere 4 months of normal usage.Update: a few more months and the next one died. Terribly low quality 🙁

Received adapter on 2/4 and it stopped working on 2/7. I believe I used it literally two times and it stopped charging my laptop. There is no power at all coming out of the charger, look elsewhere if you need a reliable charger

This fried my laptop’s motherboard
I got this as a replacement when my previous charger stopped and I got it for my lenovo yoga. I have been using it for 2 months and last week my laptop stopped charging. I thought my charger went bad but turns out both the charger was broken and my laptop was not charging from any other chargers either. Took it to the shop and had to spend $200 on a motherboard. The people who left good reviews are either lucky or will face something like this soon.
